Definitely the best coffee we have had in England! It’s a super quick detour off the A30 and is the cutest little village. It has the church that the tv show Doc Martin’s wedding was filmed. Also, there’s a mini library in the telephone box. Gorgeous village, superb coffee!

Popped in for a i e latte whilst on a cycle ride in the area, Friendly welcome from Andrea, also had a tasty brownie. Whilst I was there, some of the locals were in celebrating a birthday 🎂. They had matching tee shirts for the occasion. It turns out the name on their shirt was for their Friendly pooch 🐕. I will be back, worth a visit

When our pup turned 4, we decided he should spend his birthday in his (and our) favourite dog friendly coffee shop.
We had the most delicious cream tea, freshly baked scones with local jam and clotted cream. Honestly couldn’t beat it. Fabulous service as always and Andrea even treated the birthday boy (StanWhatsThePlan) to some strawberries! This place is a real community gem. Filled with locals, holiday makers, workers stopping for a coffee and people passing through, the atmosphere is second to none.
And yes, that is a silly hat and t-shirt for the birthday pup… life is for living (bonkers bits and all), and enjoying great coffee and cake too!- Meal type

We just had a fabulous visit to this lovely coffee shop. The village looks like it belongs right on a postage stamp and is really picturesque. We visited with our little dog who was immediately greeted with a gravy bone, he was very happy to accept! We had a delicious cream tea, with cream from local jersey cattle, and my partner had a kinder bueno iced latte which looked amazing and rated 10/10. Service was really welcoming and we received some nice recommendations of places to visit. Would absolutely recommend this place for any travellers looking for a cosy and inviting stop for a brew break.- Food

What a gem! Delicious coffee. Friendly atmosphere. My dog and I were made to feel very welcome. Original and tasty range of home made cakes and savoury snacks. Could’ve stayed all day. Will definitely be visiting again, so easy from the A30.

I googled a place to have a break on our way from Penzance to Somerset. Wat a hidden jewel this place is! We enjoyed a cappuccino, hot chocolate with cream and two delicious home baked cakes. They tasted so good that we ordered two more to take away. This is a place off the beaten track to remember. We highly recommend it!

This little coffee shop just off the A30 at Altarnun is a must if you are passing by! A surprisingly large drinks menu and a great selection of foods and treats. To top this off we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from the owner who unfortunately we didn’t catch her name. We will definitely be stopping off when passing in the future.

I landed here on a 126km bike ride from Horrabridge to St. Agnes.
I was flagging and, not only was there a great locals atmosphere in this pretty village cafe, but the coffee was 10/10 and the Cornish Brie sandwich was amazing.
The owner offered to refill my water bottle and told me where the local (amazing clean!) toilets were - which was really helpful and needed as someone on an all-day ride.
The lovely energy from this cafe (and the coffee) helped me fly over the next two hours. And I got to my destination - finally!
